About Us

Southeast Commercial Real Estate was founded in mid 1994 by Michael Giancola. After relocating from Burlington, VT in late 1993, Mr. Giancola decided to start a company that focused solely on commercial real estate in southeastern Massachusetts. In 1999 Mr. Giancola was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. In 2001, Mr. Giancola achieved the SIOR Industrial Specialist designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS, an international association of professional Commercial Real Estate Brokers.

CCIMs and SIORs are recognized experts in the commercial real estate brokerage, leasing asset management, valuation, and investment analysis, and form a business network encompassing one thousand markets throughout the world. Approximately eight thousand professionals currently hold the CCIM designation, with many practitioners pursuing it. The Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS has more than two thousand members. The Chicago-based Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute and the Washington DC-based Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS are affiliates of the National Association of Realtors.
